The challenge

Bento Sushi was launching the sushi burrito into the Canadian market - a brand new product that consumers were not familiar with.

The strategy

We identified influencers in the food space who are relevant to our target audience of young, urban sushi fans. We partnered with Naomi Leanage, Foodgressing and Chef Quang Tran to taste test the product and share the results on their social channels.

Additionally, we secured press coverage in the Canadian trade press, including Canadian Grocer.

Where are they now?

Sushi burritos were successfully launched and are now part of the mainstream food offering.
