We're hiring - Account Manager

We are looking for a passionate digital and social media coordinator that is well-rounded in both planning and execution. The ideal candidate is able to generate forward-thinking ideas as well as technical know-how in execution.

To be successful in this role, you must be highly capable of producing content, be self-motivated, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.

This is a full-time hybrid position — you will be required to work from our Toronto office a minimum of two days per week, with occasional travel throughout the year. You will report to the Digital Manager.

What you will do:

  • Immerse yourself in social and digital channels for industry trends, specifically in the food and beverage industry. Understand and act on viral moments and trending audio

  • Proactively bring new ideas to the table and leverage AI while adapting to the ever-changing digital landscape

  • Collaborate with the Accounts and Creative team to develop social media content calendars and quarterly campaign plans.

  • Work with the culinary team to produce content in the test kitchen

  • Assist in creating and editing written, video/reels, and photo content

  • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels.

  • Attend events and produce live social media content.

  • Be comfortable directing and working with external freelancers to produce content

  • Planning and scheduling content (posts, stories, reels, etc.) across social media platforms and monitoring comments on always-on and day-to-day content.

  • Manage social media communities - responding to direct messages, tagged posts, liking, and replying to posts while maintaining the brand voice.

  • Increase reach, followers and engagement across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.

  • Assist with creating social media reports. Review analytics and create reports on key metrics. Monitoring, listening and measurement.

  • Assist with Paid Advertising across all social media platforms.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet client needs and timelines.

Skills and Experience:

  • Multitasking is second nature, you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment both offsite and in the office

  • Creating content is second nature to you, you live and breathe digital marketing

  • You are a passionate, proactive marketer who likes to work with a variety of people

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator, Digital Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, Account Coordinator etc.

  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.

  • Able to work with creative software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc

  • Collaborate across internal teams to assemble project plans, work back schedules, aid in problem-solving, etc. Therefore, it’s essential to have excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Comfortable soliciting feedback and approvals from internal sources at all levels of the organization.

  • Possess a solid understanding of social media content and ads monitoring and management tools like Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager, Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.

  • Knowledge of Google Apps such as docs, sheets, slides, calendar and drive as well as our internal communication tool, slack would be a plus

  • Utilize AI tools regularly and know how to leverage for day-to-day tasks

  • Being bilingual in French is an asset.

  • Have a valid G licence and be comfortable driving to various locations in and outside of the GTA
