You may have seen an audio player on top of our recent blog posts and news updates. We've implemented Amazon's text-to-speech voice technology on our site, Amazon Polly. It's similar in scope to the tech that powers Alexa, Amazon's AI-based, voice-powered Assistant. And if you're reading this, there's nothing stopping you from trying it out. The player works equally well on the desktop and mobile, even, and this is impressive, in some email clients. Sometimes it's not just easier to listen to content, it's also a great step towards greater accessibility for vision-impaired visitors to our site. There's still a hint of the robot in the available voices, but we've been assured that future updates will be ever more human sounding. In the meantime, we'll be exploring the option of podcasting with this technology. It looks like Apple is accepting Polly powered blogs as podcasts.
