Webinar: Passport to the UK - Making the most out of CETA

tesco-560 It wont be long before CETA (the Comprehensive Trade and Economic Agreement) is finally live. It gives Canadian firms the biggest single trade opportunity in a generation by allowing tariff free access to EU markets. Canadian food and drink companies need to start thinking about how CETA will affect their export plans. Many Canadian firms choose to start with exporting to the United Kingdom due to the cultural and historical links between the two countries. A market of some 70m consumers and with a liking for Canadian taste profiles and brands, the UK is an obvious place to start. The International Food Marketing Alliance (IFMA) is your passport to the UK and the wider EU and the team would like to invite you to a webinar on the 23rd February at 5pm (EST). The webinar will be hosted by Hamish Renton, EU President of the IFMA and Emma Finn from the Canadian High Commission in London. We’ll cover:
  • the key differences between the UK and Canada
  • pricing and merchandising
  • routes to market (agents, distributors, direct sell)
  • marketing your product in the UK
  • market entry strategy
  • size of the prize
We do hope you can join us for a 30 minute tour of the UK as an export destination – you are sure to learn something of value. Register by filling in the form below. [formidable id=8]
