About the Role:

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team!

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Digital Marketing Manager is accountable for the strategy, development, execution and analysis of digital marketing initiatives, including all paid and organic initiatives via all paid, earned and owned media platforms.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience strategizing, executing and reporting on marketing efforts with a penchant for diving into the details and aggregating results from multiple sources to deliver the complete picture via comprehensive reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and implement paid and organic media campaigns to align with marketing goals.
    • Use predictive modelling tools (e.g. Google Trends) and social tracking tools (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meltwater) to derive insights and trends instrumental in developing campaigns and concepts.

    • Lead content creation for social and develop content calendars.

    • Develop and implement paid ad campaigns on social media (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn) and digital media (Google, YouTube, Microsoft).

    • Work with the influencer team to come up with strategies that meet client objectives, push innovation, and align with the overall media goals.

    • Optimize email marketing and newsletter efforts including content, strategy, execution and automation.

    • Work with the web development team to optimize websites for SEO/SEM.

  • Track, optimize, measure, and report on the performance of all campaigns, assessing them against pre-established KPIs and, ultimately, tying efforts to conversion.

  • Strategize new content marketing ideas in collaboration with the Creative Team - this involves working with copywriters, designers, photographers and videographers, writing briefing documents and providing feedback and guidance

  • Lead a team of social media and digital coordinators to plan, produce and manage content for all digital activities

  • Manage ad spend and work with the Account Team to maximize investments.

  • Research, investigate, and evaluate emerging marketing technologies. Ensure that the agency is at the forefront of digital marketing innovation with a finger on the pulse of emerging technology and provide thought leadership for adoption where appropriate.

This is a hands-on role, with supplemental third-party partner support, and requires expert-level experience with:

  • Social media management and listening (Sprout Social)

  • Meta Business Suite

  • LinkedIn Business Manager

  • Pinterest Business Hub

  • Google Ads

  • Google Analytics (GA4)

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM)

  • Google Search Console

Requirements:

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or specialized training in marketing, communications, or related field;

  • 3-5 years years of hands-on agency experience in digital marketing;

  • Expert knowledge of social media ad platforms, including Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), along with social management tools such as Hootsuite and Sprout Social;

  • Experience in A/B testing, iterating and measuring digital, social and e-mail marketing campaigns;

  • Demonstrable experience utilizing Google Analytics and AdWords;

  • Demonstrable experience planning and managing the execution of both organic social content plans as well as paid social and display advertising;

  • Knowledge of website analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Google Search Console;

  • Knowledge of SEO & SEM;

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and assets simultaneously


Good to have:

  • Interested in food and the way it is shown and presented in popular culture.

  • Bilingual in French is an asset

  • Knowledge of various CMS with bonus points for HTML, CSS;

  • Experience in optimizing landing pages
