We're hiring - Senior Account Executive

You have a persuasive and confident approach to creative projects and full awareness of creative processes and techniques in all platforms, with an emphasis on social and digital. Working with the Creative Lead and/or Senior Art Director, you approve creative work and make sure that it is on strategy and on budget. A minimum of 3 years of agency experience is required. In partnership with the Management team and Account Planner, you help define our clients' strategic needs and objectives and liaise closely with them. You will make sure that you build professional relationships with our clients that are strong and resilient. You will help with new business development as needed. You are experienced in project management and work well with internal and external teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You are reporting to the Account Director. Tasks that we expect you to perform involve:
  • Provide the utmost in client service
  • Take all necessary measures to gain a full understanding of the client’s business, their issues, opportunities and objectives
  • Work with Management, Account Planner and Creative team to proactively develop ideas, strategic proposals and presentations aimed at driving the client’s business forward and, by so doing, developing the business for the agency
  • Assist the Account Planner and Account Director with translating strategies into cohesive creative briefs that lead to strong, challenging and effective creative work
  • Ensure that all work developed and presented is relevant, on brief, on budget and in keeping with the client’s brand and strategic objectives
  • Take responsibility for building and managing a strong working relationship with all levels of client
  • Build the trust of the client through clear direction, honesty and integrity
  • Where possible, build friendships with clients beyond the day-to-day work
  • Contribute to client reviews with our senior client contacts to identify and address any issues
  • Assist/lead with presenting major campaign ideas, creative work and budget to the client for approval or modification
  • Participate in photo and video shoots as the agency and client representative
  • Assist/lead with the handling of budgets, managing of campaign strategy and triggering of invoicing of clients
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns, review and contribute to reports
  • Take responsibility for the long and short term income and profitability of each account
  • Strive to achieve financial targets as agreed with the Management team
  • Supervise and approve the the day-to-day financial management of the account, including estimating and billing
  • Work with the Management team to make sure each account has the correct level of resource allocated to it
  • Manage the team supporting on your projects/accounts effectively, and make sure all members of the team understand their responsibilities and expectations
  • Make sure the entire team provides clients with a consistently high standard of service
  • Act as a coach to junior members of the team to help develop their skills and experience
  • Take responsibility for recruiting new team members, as and when necessary
  • Always make sure your team is supported in terms of delivery. Never leave the building if a junior member of your team is struggling
