  Vision

Shaping the future of food marketing with integrity, clarity, and passion.

 Mission

Unite deep agri-food sector knowledge, strategic insights, and dynamic creativity to drive exceptional results for our clients.

Do I need a marketing plan for my food business?Imagine you’re building a house. A marketing plan is the equivalent of an architect’s blueprint. Marketing activations that are not linked to a business outcome are a waste of money. As a result, marketing planning is an important part of our work. The research and context that we build during this stage help ensure your marketing budget is spent wisely.

Do you service multicultural food brands?Yes! We have a culturally diverse team at Nourish, and we have extensive experience working with multicultural food brands. Have a look at some of our past work for examples.

Do you service French-language food brands?Absolutement! Our Montreal office is staffed with food marketing experts who understand the cultural expectations of French-speaking Canadians, and we work with expert translators who work specifically in the food sector. We never simply translate English copy to French; we always make sure that all marketing has cultural relevance.

Do you provide bilingual marketing executions?Bien sûr! As an officially bilingual country, we must offer marketing executions in English and French. We maintain an office in Montreal, and work with expert translation professionals who specialize in food. Rest assured that we tailor French-language content as needed to resonate with that audience.

Can you help with product and recipe development?Yes, and that’s part of what sets us apart from other agencies. We have a commercially-certified kitchen in our Toronto Head Office and employ a professional chef full-time. We can work with you on flavour and formulation development and testing as you create or reimagine your product. Have an existing product? Let us help your customers get the most out of it with original recipes created in-house. We’ve developed hundreds of recipes, all proven to work in real-world kitchens.

How do you bill for marketing services? We offer two payment structures: project fee or retainer fee. Project fees are best suited for projects with well-defined and time-bound deliverables, such as websites, packaging, strategy plans, and brand books.

For ongoing projects, such as social media programs, retainer fees are a more appropriate option. This enables us to create content that adapts to the fluctuation of consumer engagement without the need for frequent adjustments to budgets and deliverables.

What are Nourish’s rates for project work? Our services are typically offered at a blended rate of $183/hour. This covers strategy, creative execution, content creation, and account management.

Do you work with food startups? Do you offer special rates? We restrict the total number of food business startups we work with to 12 per calendar year, with an intake of one per month. We do offer reduced rates to qualifying startups. Please contact us for details.

How long has Nourish Food Marketing been in business?Nourish Food Marketing launched in 2009. We are Canada’s only full-service marketing agency specializing in food, beverage, and agriculture clients. We work with clients globally from our Head Office in Toronto, with a subsidiary office in Montreal. Nourish Food Marketing is 100% female-owned.
