What could be more “2020” than an outdoor farm show conducted entirely online?
Rather than allow physical distancing restrictions to shut them down, the organizers of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show did what we’re all doing these days - they innovated, improvised, and carried on. The result was the first-ever Canada’s Digital Farm Show. And Nourish was proud to participate.
Jo-Ann McArthur, President of Nourish Food Marketing, and Len Kahn, President of Kahntact, delivered a moderated keynote conversation entitled “The Future of Food in the Pandemic Era.”
Because of COVID, the curtain that hung between the consumer and the farmer has fallen. Consumers are paying more attention than ever to the Canadian food supply chain, and it’s critical to understand the issues and why they matter from the commercial, consumer, and agricultural points of view. How do you bridge those gaps and bring everybody to the same shared table? And what’s the state of the food trends upon which so many in the industry base their decisions?
These are some of the issues tackled in this compelling dialogue, ably moderated by Laura Rance-Unger, Vice President of Content at Glacier FarmMedia.
