Hybrid (2 days a week in-office) work model based out of our King St. W and Niagara St. office in Toronto, featuring light-filled workspaces and an in-house test kitchen—get ready for impromptu cookie tastings!

About the role:

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator who is equally strong in content creation and day-to-day execution. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, supporting multiple clients across the food and beverage industry. You will be accountable for the day-to-day execution, timelines, and delivery of social content across assigned clients. You will work closely with the account, creative, and culinary teams to bring social-first ideas to life and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Production

  • Create and edit social content, including short-form video, photography, and social graphic copy.
  • Design and produce platform-optimized graphics using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, and CapCut.
  • Work with the culinary team to produce content in the test kitchen.
  • Attend events and produce live and real-time social content.

Planning and Execution

  • Own the creation, accuracy, and ongoing maintenance of social media content calendars for assigned clients.
  • Ensure content calendars are client-ready, up to date, and delivered on time.
  • Schedule and publish posts across priority platforms.

Community Management

  • Manage day-to-day social media communities, including comments, direct messages, and tagged content.
  • Monitor conversations and engage in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.

Platform and Trend Fluency

  • Stay immersed in social and digital culture, with a strong focus on food and beverage trends.
  • Identify and act on relevant trends, formats, and viral moments.
  • Bring proactive, platform-native ideas forward, including thoughtful use of AI tools for ideation and efficiency.

Analytics and Paid Support

With the support of the social media or account manager:

  • Track and prepare performance reports across assigned clients.
  • Setup and optimize paid campaigns across platforms, as needed.

Collaboration

  • Direct and collaborate with external freelancers and influencers when required.
  • Work closely with the account, creative, and digital teams to meet client timelines and objectives.
  • Comfortably take direction, align on priorities, and move work forward independently.
  • Support internal workflows, including approvals, feedback, and project coordination.

Qualifications

  • Must Have:
    • 2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or a related coordinator role.
    • Strong understanding of key social platforms, with emphasis on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Meta.
    • Valid G license and comfort driving to locations in and around the GTA is required.
    • Photo/video editing skills (working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut). Working knowledge of creative tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator is a strong asset.
    • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
    • Clear communicator who is comfortable seeking feedback and approvals.
  • Good To Have:
    • Experience with social management and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager, Sprout, or Hootsuite.
    • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Slack is an asset.
    • Comfortable using AI tools for ideation, efficiency, and content support.
    • Bilingual in French is an asset.
